About Cultivate

Classical with a twist.

Academic excellence without sacrificing simplicity.

The Hybrid Model

The best of both worlds

Cultivate merges the independence of traditional homeschooling with the structure and collaboration of a classroom environment. PreK through 8th grade students gather with experienced, qualified teachers twice weekly — every Tuesday and Wednesday — for core subjects plus Spanish, music, and art.

This hybrid model thrives when both teachers and parents partner in the educational process. We make it easy by curating the curriculum and providing a solid, clear plan to implement at home.

Defined as “classical with a twist,” we strive for academic excellence — yet simplicity.

Cultivate students

Our Values

We cultivate students who are…

Truth-Seekers

Students who pursue honesty and defend it — in their work, their words, and their character.

Honorable Citizens

Courageous, just, merciful, and humble — citizens who understand their responsibilities to others.

Diligent Workers

Humans with grit who give their best effort with a sense of purpose, not just compliance.

Community & Faith Context

Much of our curriculum is classical, grounded in a Protestant, Judeo-Christian context. We emphasize those values through literacy; however, we do not conduct Bible classes or chapel. While we open each day with prayer, we believe it is the parents' duty and privilege to instruct their children in spiritual practices. All families are welcome to join our hybrid group, with the understanding of a Biblical worldview supported with Christ-like virtues.

Distinguishing Features

What makes us different

Enrichment Included

Music, art, Spanish, and folk dance are built into every campus day — not extras you schedule separately. Students learn to read musical notation, play instruments, sing in harmony, practice conversational Spanish, and create art across a wide range of mediums.

Small Class Sizes

We never exceed 9 students per teacher in math and language arts. This creates close-knit relationships and ensures every child gets the individual attention they need.

Skill-Level Grouping

Students are grouped by ability, not age, in math and language arts. This lets each child work in their optimal learning zone — challenged but never overwhelmed.

Family-Style Learning

History and science use a 3-year spiral cycle with shared content across ages. Siblings learn together, and parents implement the same content at home across grade levels.

Community Events

Regular field trips, Greek Olympics, Thanksgiving feasts, rocket launches, science fairs, and more — organized by teachers and contributing parents throughout the year.

Beautiful Campus Amenities

A vibrant garden for hands-on nature learning, an extensive library of rich living books shared through a borrowing system, and plenty of outdoor space for movement between classes.

Location & Schedule

South Scottsdale

We meet at a church campus in south Scottsdale, just off the 101 — every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am–2:30pm (2pm for PreK through 2nd grade).

Parents drop students off. Between classes, there's grassy run-around space, a playground, a soccer field, a basketball hoop, and a vibrantly beautiful garden.

The school year follows a standard schedule — 37 weeks total, starting August 25, 2026, with two weeks off for Christmas and a one-week spring break.
